#1 Complete your Research Assignment (due next wednesday, Feb 10th.)
- find a clear action within a 6-second sequence from an animation of your choice.
- Just as we did in class, develop an X-Sheet that marks out the main key drawings of your animation, as well an estimation of the timing for your animation. Timing is displayed in your notes as frame count and elapsed seconds in your animation.
#2 Bring Materials to Construct Lightboxes on Monday! Materials can be found by clicking here.
- For those of you looking for additional links to purchase an affordable lightbox via amazon.com, click one of the links below. Pick the sizing and pricing that will work best for you. A further search through amazon will help you pick a size that works best for you.
- As a guide, our animation paper size is 10f, or (8.5" x 11"). You need at least a workable area of 8.5 inches in height for the light box to serve you well.
- A4 SIZE: (Screen area of 11"x 8.25")
- (Screen area of 12.20" x 8.3")
- A3 SIZE: (Screen area of 16.9" x 12.2")
Those of you who are buying thin lightboxes may still prefer to bring a box to class to construct. Having an angled viewing area when animating will always make your work stronger. You may elect to sit your purchased lightbox onto such a drawing surface to make better work!
