Homework for Monday, February 1, 2016!

Create an animation that is about 6 seconds long (maximum 10) of a SIMPLE 3-D OBJECT acting on a single emotion.

The story for your project is:  __________ feels __________ or __________ feels like __________.

PAY ATTENTION TO THE TIMING OF YOUR ANIMATION!
It is important to remember that you are not drawing every frame for this animation, instead focusing on the most important drawings, and achieving proper timing in your animated works!

Your simple shapes of choice to work with are

  • A cylinder
  • A cube
  • A pyramid
  • A rectangular prism. (like a tall box, or something.)

Pick a single emotion and animate your character experiencing it!  Think about this: How does your character suddenly have this feeling?  How does your animation and your character resolve its feelings?

Have your animation created and rendered into a video at the start of class on Monday!

Also, begin thinking about the animated sequence you would like to do a research project on!

If you have any questions, contact me by email! Have a nice week! =D

Important dates to remember:

Wednesday, February 3, 2016: Lightbox construction day!
